Tomato Cherry Rainbow Blend Seeds – my kids would be in heaven! They would never make it inside for me to cook with but that is ok!

I think the Carrot Tonda di Parigi HEIRLOOM Seeds would be so fun for my daughter, but I was actually really amazed at the selection. I’ve never tried growing very much from seed, but as I’m looking for more natural options for my garden I think I’m ready to give it a go.
I’d have to go with the heirloom tomato packet. I’d love to try purple heirlooms.
My pick is something that I’m definitely going to try next year . . . the Sweet REBA Acorn Squash! It says it is resistant to powdery mildew, early, and doesn’t take up much space. It is going on my seed wish list for 2013.

My garden this year was a bust. I started thinking about next years a few months ago when it became apparent that this year wasn’t going to amount to much. Hard to choose just one, but I have recently fallen in love with Calendula. The packet for the Calendula Zeolights is lovely.
I can’t decide between the cumin, vegetable spaghetti squash or the sugar baby watermelon. I’d like to grow that in my greenhouse this next summer.

I like the Tomato-Bush-Better-Bush-Seeds. Tomatoes are always fun (and fairly easy) to grow and you can do so much with them. So sad we’ll be dependent upon hot house/grocery store tomatoes until next year.

Our local favorite feed store (Wabash in Houston) has a Botanical Interests seed wall and it is sooo cool! My husband has to drag me away because “we have enough seeds.” Yeah right, like you can ever have enough seeds!

I’m going to pick American Purple Top Rutabaga because I think rutabagas are a forgotten vegetable! They are so tasty and yet I can never find them at the store here. I also had some bad luck with seed potatoes this Fall (squirrels, dogs, and rotting!), so I think my defunct potato garden would be better served as a rutabaga garden.

The organic Danvers carrots – we grew carrots for the first time this year and they far exceeded our expectations for tastiness and grow-y-ness (that ought to be a word). The Danvers ones are supposed to grow well even in tough soil, which is definitely what we have.
It is pretty hard to choose just one favorite. It would probably be the CA wonder pepper though. Any of the tomatoes, the flat Italy onion and the eggplant are also some of the veggies I would love in my garden. Thanks so much for this opportunity. You have inspired me to pick up the pace on next years garden. I may even start weighing all I grow.

I’m eyeing the Spinach Bloomsdale Organic HEIRLOOM Seeds. I’m really enjoying The Walking Dead and this spinach reminds me of brains, a zombie specialty. Gross I know but it’s what caught my eye as well as the yummy looking tomatoes. All of them, I can’t choose!

Purslane! I was very excited to see purslane, an edible food that actually grows wild all over the place (at least here in Michigan it does). Another great thing to add to your salad.
It’s not my favorite veggie but I love the art for the Bok Choy, it has such texture and depth. It’s just beautiful.
I’d love to try the Sweet Canary Bell Pepper seeds in my garden next year. We love peppers!

I had already been to the Botanical Interests website and ordered Kale, Swiss Chard, and Bok Choy seeds to start a fall garden for the first time, and I also ordered three kinds of garlic that I”m looking forward to planting this fall. So thanks for the info! It gets me motivated to try new things.

Because of your blog, I have checked into their website and the next big garden thing I want to try is garlic it seems so simple! I love how you do so much with your little space, I have way more space but cant seem to do half of what you are but I am just starting step by step. My husband was thrilled when I told him we were tripling the size of my garden next year so he could prepare it! lol. I love gardening so much though, and you are a huge inpiration!
Gonna have to say the Bok Choy White Stem HEIRLOOM Seeds. I love Bok Choy and its a total bonus that they are heirloom!
My favorite seeds from the Botanical Intrests site are the Heirloom Luffa Gourds. Dry them and fill/cover with handmade soap and they are great in the shower or bath. Makes a great winter time project and is a swell gift for any friend or family member.

This is hard, everything is fabulous and I’d love to explore some of the garlic but honestly the peas/oats cover crop intrigues me the most. I’ve never used a cover crop but it seems like a brilliant way to go.

Wow your popular Mavis, so many follower – it is so cool you’re willing to share your knowledge, wit and frugality. I love strawberries and so do my kiddos. We are buying land with gardening possibilities and this win would be super cool to start our gardening adventure.
All the seed packets have gorgeous artwork, but I was impressed that they have Tatume (calabacita) squash, which I’ve been reading about lately. Looks like I’ll need to order some seeds and give it a try.

I always like the royal burgundy beans. Mavis you rock and since Ryan loves you so much over at botantical interests (and you buy alot of seeds) they should name a variety of something after you.
I would LOVE to try the wheat berries. That would be so neat. I also want to do fennel.
So many to choose from but my fav is Broccoli Raab Rapini, because I can hear my sister’s father-in-law saying in his thick Italian accent, “Dyoo wanna some rapini? Issa good forra you!” And it’s great sauteed with garlic in a little olive oil. Delicioso!

Mavis, I am way down in central Florida and just love your website. I grow organic as best I can fighting the bugs down here with garlic and ivory soap spray. It has been a hot summer and I want to start my garden as soon as it cools off. I have lettuce and spinach seeds sprouting on the porch. I would love any organic seeds that will grown down here.

My favoirite right now is The carnival Carrot blend. Probably because my seeds just spouted in my garden a few weeks ago and yesterday I found someone had chewed them down to nothing, ACK!

I love all the diffrent heirloom varieties. I thought there could only be 1 and it turns out there can be many…who knoe? guess i will be picking up several varieties of heirloom carrots and pumpkins and tomatoes….
The Royal Burgandy Bush Beans really look interesting and fun! I”d like to add that to my garden for the added splash of color.
I really liked tthe large selection of seed collections. They have gone to the trouble of putting collections together for you whether container gardening or basic bounty collection. I use their flower seeds this summer. My favorite seed is their Strawberry fields flower. Looks just like little strawberries in your bouquet!

I’d have to pick the Cucumber Spacemaster seeds– we love our cucumbers in this house but I don’t love the vines taking over everything else in my garden. For some reason, I never remember to give my cucumber vines enough space when I plant them.

Those are the prettiest seed packets I have ever seen. I think I would go with the Melon canary Tweety seeds but the pumpkin little October seeds are a close second!

I’m gonna say Cover Crop Soil Builder Peas/Oats Organic Heirloom Seeds. I have horrible soil and amended it this year with compost but it’s still in really bad shape. I’m going to plant a cover crop and will be planting some of my garden beds with the seeds listed above and the rest of my beds with red clover and see if this will help.
I love the ‘Bring Home The Butterflies’ seeds. I hope it’s okay that it’s not an edible? There’s probably some nastertium or sunflower in there, right??? Okay, well, here’s hoping I win – those pretty seed packets would make for some nice collage art too

I love their escarole! Escarole Broadleaf Batavian HEIRLOOM Seeds – I did really well growing these – and I’d be remiss if I didn’t say I love their escarole graphic too! Mine didn’t look quite that lush, but came close!
my favorite is the cucumber home made pickles (organic) seeds. Because the idea of growing cucumbers and making home made pickles tickles my fancy bone. =)
