Raising Backyard Chickens – Merry Christmas
Ernesto the Elf begged to come along with The Girl and I as we let the hens out of the chicken coop this morning. He wanted to wish them a Merry Christmas so we let him tag along.
Well, I’m not sure it was such a great idea.
Pablo let Ernesto know REAL QUICK the chicken run was his turf, and little men dressed in red were not welcome.
In other news, we gave Black Fatty and her crew a new Flock Block to snack on, as well as some Brussels sprouts, and Christmas kale. They were so excited!

I hope you rescued Ernesto before he got pecked to death! Sounds like your birds got an surprise this Christmas Eve and I’m sure they are very happy little chicks today. Now this chick needs to get off the computer and put our bird in the oven! Merry Christmas Mavis…you’re the best!
