While we were on vacation in So Cal, one morning The Girl Who Thinks She’s a Bird and I took a walk to Salt Creek Beach. She wanted to snap some photographs for her portfolio, and was totally over the moon when she discovered her favorite subject was out in full force.

Your daughter’s photos are wonderful! We live very close to Lake Michigan….gulls are some of my favorite birds to watch. I mean, anyone of them might be Johnathan Livingston Seagull and wouldn’t that be cool to see?
