just a thought about the bees, i had considered bees, but decided to wait til i have the time
to be prepared and know what i’m doing. sooooo i planted rows of flowers amongst the
crops, marigolds, sunflowers, etc. my grandmother had an enormous garden and kept rows of flowers that came up every year to attract the bees, very wise old farm girl… it worked for her and it worked for us. we were told that around us you can contact a beekeeper and work out a deal that they can bring their hive set up on your place and share the wealth(honey) so to speak. maybe that would be an option for you.
anyway , just a thought.
