While I was out running errands this morning I stopped by Albertsons so I could stock up on a few things. Mostly I went out for the free Activia yogurt. I love using yogurt in smoothies. I also picked up some free Uncle Ben’s Rice cups and gum for the kids and a couple boxes of free cake mix as well.

How did you get the cake mix for free? Doesn’t a $0.50 coupon double to $1? And the cake mix is listed as $1.25.

Our Albertsons in Vancouver doesn’t seem to stock much product. Tried to get some yogurt but they clerk told me that they only had 20 4 packs to start with and that a lady picked all 20 up at 7am this morning.
They only thing they had was the gum – so am happy with free gum!

Does anyone else think activia is the worst tasting yogurt ever?
It’s not that bad, but it makes me goooooo. Which I guess is the point. But, man…
I can’t stand either, Tina. It’s really too bad because I eat a lot of yogurt and there always seem to be good deals on Activia!

Though we don’t have any doubling where I live, thanks for sharing. If we ever do get it, I’ll know just how to do it! We also want to travel next summer so I’d like to know how each “brand” of store works. Last trip we mostly went to Walmart because they are easy to see from the road but I will keep Albertsons in mind. What region are they located in? Only Pacific Northwest?
