If you are in the Tacoma area, Tacoma Boys on 6th Ave has some gorgeous tomato plants on sale 3 for $10. I started my tomatoes from seed this year but when I was on the East coast for a week the boys forgot to water them and they all died. 🙁
I talked to the fence guy and he thinks his crew will be here on the 18th to get started. In the mean time The Girl and I are working on moving the neighbors compost pile away from the fence line and into our garden.
Our dear, sweet, 85 year old neighbors offered to move their compost pile so it wouldn’t rest against the fence and cause it to rot but we said we’d take care of it for them. We offered to move it anywhere on their property for them but they said they didn’t really need it and asked us if we wanted it, so we said sure.
I can’t tell you how happy I am to be outside gardening again.
Dirt is cool.
