Hello Wednesday! Last night I went to check on the pumpkin patch and I noticed a bunch of seedlings popping up. Finally! I was getting a little worried there for a bit. Normally I plant my pumpkins on June 1st but I was a little behind this year so I was happy to see the little bits of green dotting the mounds of dirt. Now, if I can just keep the slugs away long enough for these t grow everything will be good.

I don’t know about you, but I am having a heck of a time keeping those slimy critters out of my garden this year.

Oh well, everyone has to eat, right?

Happy Monday everyone. Did you have a relaxing Father’s Day? My parents came over and we BBQ’d, picked peas and played with Lucy the puggle dog.     Once everyone went home The Girl and I watched the remaining episodes of season 2 of Sherlock on Netflix. Have you seen it? OH it is awesome. My favorite part of each episode is when Sherlock explains everything in detail in 30 seconds and the whole story comes together. 

He’s an odd guy, but we really like him. I heard they are filming season 3 right now and we are anxiously waiting for it.

Good morning everyone! It’s a good thing little Miss Lucy got micro chipped because yesterday she dug under the fence and took off after the FedEx truck. Luckily a neighbor was driving by and snatched her up and brought her back.

Lucy is a puggle, half pug and half beagle and from what I hear beagles are quite the diggers. I guess the HH will be out filling holes today. If you have any suggestions on what to do about dogs they are fierce diggers/escape artists, I would love to hear about it.
