The Cotswold Farm

Good morning from the Cotswolds!!! Stow-on-the-Wold specifically. We rented a little cottage in the village and are LOVING IT!!!

We took the overnight flight to London and then rented a car. The HH wouldn’t add me as a driver {can you believe that? He doesn’t know what he’s missing!!} and so far so good.

We did go for the full coverage though, because HELLO… This is England and the roads can be a bit narrow

This morning while the HH was sleeping in I headed out for a walk and popped into The Cotswold Farm for a spot of tea. A SPOT OF TEA! 🙂

I love this place, and I bet you would too. Loads of local fruits and vegetables, fresh baked breads and a nice variety of tea cakes too.

Cackle Bean Eggs! After reading about these eggs a few months ago I was happy to see them in the farm shop.

I was just going to order tea and a cookie but once I spotted the eggs benedict I had to order it. Pretty much anytime I see it on a menu I have to give it a try.

I ordered a decaf tea while I waited for my breakfast. One of the things I love about traveling in England is that when you order tea, 9/10 you get a POT OF TEA.

It’s lovely and is so much more fun than being handed a paper cup {or even a mug} of tea.

Eggs Benedict. The eggs were cooked to perfection!

The Cotswold Farm. I love it here. After planning this trip for months, I’m excited to finally be here and to share this special place of the world with the HH.

I think we’re off to a good start. More pictures to come. I promise. 🙂
