Costco Shopping Trip $50.62
The HH went to Costco last week to load up on provisions and when he came back I was like, well, I guess we’re back on the wagon again. 😉
Back to the old grind. Back to salads and berries and yogurt. But you know what? I am happy about that. The novelty of eating out when you’re away from home gets old after about the third day in my opinion.
A routine. That’s what I crave.
A big salad with bacon, avocado and hard boiled eggs. Does it get any better than that?
Sometimes with chopped pecans.
Sometimes with peas. Just let me eat a big salad and I’ll be happy. 🙂
Market Basket Shopping Trip $15.67 {including milk}
He also loaded up on yogurt. I think I’ve settled on a favorite brand. Icelandic Provisions. The HH still can’t decide if he likes the Oikos or the FAGE brand the best.
We both agree that gurt with a wee bit of jam and fruit is a winning combination though. {Thanks for all your suggestions!!}
I had an appointment in Portland and Chick-fil-A was close by so we popped in for a treat. I can’t decide if Chick-fil-A or Five Guys has the best shakes but strawberry is my all time favorite.
Actually now that I think about it, I can’t even remember when the last time was that I ordered something other than a strawberry shake.
Hmmm. Maybe when I was a kid? Maybe it was a shamrock shake from Mc Donalds when I was 10? Do they even make those anymore?
Trader Joe’s Shopping Trip $77.32
I went in for smoked salmon and baby avocados and came out with a cart full. 🙂
Fact: Trader Joe’s sells the BEST avocados on the planet earth.
Pickety bits.
Ahh yes. It’s good to be back on the wagon again. Big salads and pickety bits. I love you.

Why the “Betty” moniker on the milkshake!? 🙂
Mavis Butterfield says
Everyone knows how to pronounce and spell Betty. And of course because of Laverne and Shirley. Betty please…. Pick up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SDpsM70eiag

Tea is something I could (and do) drink every day but can’t think of anything I wouldn’t get tired of eating after a while. What dressing do you eat on your salads?
Mavis Butterfield says
