Online Things
I added a new rug hooking pattern “Tom Turkey” to my Etsy shop and uploaded the Tom Turkey rug hooking tutorial to my youtube channel.
Staying off the internet this past week was pretty darn easy since I left my laptop at home. I basically used my phone for pictures and that’s all.
It was AWESOME! 🙂 I have a feeling I’ll be unplugging a bit more in the future.

All that’s left in there is to have a glass shower door installed but that will have to wait until we re-do the bathroom at the studio. Might as well do them at the same time, right? 🙂

Travel Things
I had THE BEST time hiking in Utah with Jen. The first two days of the trip were probably the most physically challenging thing I’ve ever done but we had a blast and I would totally do it again.
I’ll share some pictures and a video or two as soon as I go through them all.
We always have such a good time traveling together, we’re already thinking about our next adventure. But first… WINTER. I am totally ready for it.
Ready to hunker down, stay in my jammies and work on more rugs. Oh, and the new studio. HA HA HA.

Marriage Things
My husband. He loves me. I came home to a clean house, clean sheets and food in the fridge. How sweet was that?
He did a great job holding down the fort, getting all the Etsy packages mailed and taking care of Miss Lucy while I was away.
I think the only thing he didn’t do was plant the 500 tulip bulbs that arrived while I was gone. {Darn!} Oh well, I guess we’ll be doing that together next week.
It’s good to be home! Happy Sunday everyone,
~Mavis
Marriage Goals
