Online Things
Last night I uploaded a rug hooking video for my latest pattern; Gobble Gobble. I love how the rug turned out! Gobble Gobble is my 6th rug hooking pattern of the year.
I had only planned on creating four new patterns, so I’m pretty pleased that I was able to exceed my goal.
Also, I am currently at 19,916 “sales” on Etsy!! Only 84 more to go until I hit my goal of 20,000 sales. That’s 2 sales a day until the end of the year. Totally doable!
I was good about not wasting time on the internet 6 out of 7 days last week. I also deleted the Pinterest app from my phone because seriously, it’s a time suck.
Out of sight out of mind, right?

House Things
We continued to work on house projects this week {mostly painting} and started to make a game plan for Christmas at the Lobster House.
We stopped by Costco to see if they had the wreaths and garland in stock yet but they didn’t. 🙁 Just a few live trees with bows on them.
Nothing too exciting.
Last year we didn’t decorate the house until November 27th, but I think we’re going to try and do it a little earlier this year.
Thankfully I don’t have to paint buoys anymore!! Man that was crazy.

Garden Things
The peony stems are all droopy, the hydrangea leaves are turning a deep purple color due to the early morning frosts and the pumpkins are melting.
Okay, rotting. We should probably do something about that before they turn to mush and make a giant mess.
I’m glad the colder weather is finally here {the HH not so much}. I have a feeling I’ll be wearing my snow suit quite a bit this winter.
Please oh please let there be a ton of snow this winter!

I made not one, but TWO pies last week using the best pie crust recipe on the planet earth. I love fruit pies! Did you know you can make fruit pies {crust + filling} and freeze them to bake later? Yes, yes you can.
I’ve done it a bunch of times and it can be a huge time saver, especially this time of year.

Travel Things
I ordered two more paint by number kits for my last vacation of the year… My painting holiday.
Which is really code for I am going to stay in my pajamas for an entire week, unplug, drink copious amounts of tea, paint and not feel guilty about it.
I ordered Van Gogh’s 3 three sunflowers and 6 sunflowers paint by number kits. One arrived yesterday, I’m still waiting on the other one.
Once these are painted I’ll have four different versions of his sunflower paintings to hang on the wall going up the stairs.
It’s kind of silly and probably a little weird but I really enjoy doing the paint by number kits. I find them super calming and it’s nice to be able to work on something and sit still for a while.

Marriage Things
Blanket season is here and Miss Lucy LOVES the new electric blanket we picked up at Costco. She thinks it’s hers and well, who are we to tell her otherwise?
We didn’t go on any walks together this past week {the HH said it’s too cold to go walking} so I went power walking with a friend instead.
No date days either. 🙁 Hopefully we can do something {that’s not a house project} this week together.
