The first snow of the season started falling yesterday morning just after breakfast and it didn’t stop all day.
It was magical!! Or at least I thought it was magical. My handyman not so much. 😉 The HH says it’s going to be a long winter and I’m good with that.
More time to work on interior projects. More time to hook rugs. And more time to sip tea and hang out in my cozy pj’s painting buoys and ornaments at the kitchen table.
The buoys and red bows are back on the lobster house this year.
We had just bought burlap to wrap the boxwoods the day before but didn’t get a chance to cover them.
As soon as this round of snow melts we’ll take care of that.
The wreaths we picked up at Costco look so beautiful with a dusting of snow.
And the garland too.
Next year we’ll have window boxes and a full fence around the house so I’ll be able to go crazy decorating.
It seems like the whole town has really upped their game this year. So many more houses are decorated with wreaths and garland and candles in the windows.
It’s all pretty dreamy if you ask me.
I LOVE living here!!
And that door! The HH did such a fantastic job building the door and the bird’s egg blue color just pops in the snow.
I’m looking forward to coming up with different decorations for the front door as the seasons change.
Snow covered paths though, I’ll think I’ll just enjoy looking at those for a while.
I love this time of year.
Bring on the snow! I am ready.

Yes, everything looks so festive and Hallmark movie worthy! I’m sure you and HH have been inspiration with the Lobster House for others to step up their decoration game. Way to go spreading cheer and good tidings!
