Online Things
This past week I hit my goal of 20,000 “sales” on Etsy! I love setting goals and working towards checking them off my list throughout the year.
It’s so rewarding!
In other news, The Kiln Guy and I had fun at the craft fair. I sold ornaments and buoys and he sold a bunch of stars and we are already coming up with ideas for next year.
I told him he should set up an Etsy shop!!

House Things
This past week was absolutely crazy in the house department.
There was so much going on!
The HH installing the curtain rods in the front room was the highlight though. A leather couch, sheepskin chairs, velvet curtains and a LEG LAMP!
OH MY!
Does it get more cozy than that? HA HA HA. And look at those floating shelves that he installed last week. They’re all decked out for Christmas.
And just in time for his big reveal too. {More about that soon}.
The floors still need to be refinished but that will have to wait until the spring. At some point this winter I’d actually like to take a break from house projects and just RELAX.
I have a feeling my husband would too. 🙂
This room has been so much fun to work on though…

Marriage Things
We may not have gone on any long walks {it was too cold!} but we did get plenty of exercise shoveling snow and working in the living room this past week.
My sweet husband also made and delivered hot cocoas and pickety bits to us at the craft fair yesterday.
What a keeper.
It was a busy week for both of us. And it feels like things are starting to slow down {for a while} which is a good thing in my book.
How about YOU?
How are you doing on YOUR goals for the year? Do you feel the mad dash to get those “goals” checked off your list before the end of the year?
~Mavis

I finally finished making the Christmas puzzles! We got knocked out by back to back viruses over Thanksgiving and the first week of December, but I’ll send them soon.

Excited to see them!!!

Congratulations on making your sales goal! Way to go! The studio is looking very warm and luxurious!
Mavis Butterfield says
A little different than what we’ve done before, that’s for sure. 🙂

Looks like the lobster house annex is all ready for Christmas. Will you use it for a B & B? Congrats on reaching the sales goal – my bad I didn’t help at all, this year at least. That hot chocolate looked so yummy and the Kiln Guy’s star is beautiful. How does one purchase one from out-of-the-area? Happy Holidays and how ’bout a photo from across the road showing both houses – is that possible, with the LandCruiser in front of course. Cheers everyone!

The Kiln Guy hasn’t set up an Etsy shop yet but when he does I’ll be sure and share.
Zero interest in a B&B. 🙂 A private space for friends and family and a calm place to create. That’s my goal.

I’m so happy for you making the 20,000 sales. I kept refreshing my computer to see when it happened. Huge achievement! Your craft fair looks like y’all had a lot of fun.
I finished my goals for the year- completed the chicken coop/run/roof/fencing, entered the state fair for the first time, learned how to use my freeze dryer and it has been running almost non-stop since September, canned multiple items, hosted a huge family Thanksgiving, spread over ten loads of compost in the gardens, reorganized my pantry, cleaned out the garage, spend time thrifting/antiquing, etc.
