The weather in Maine is always a bit tricky in March. One minute it’s snowing and all you want to do is stay inside and then the next day the sun will be out and you feel like you totally have to get out there and take advantage of it.
Yesterday was a pretty nice day around here. The sun was out, it was above freezing and I got a ton of stuff done.
What more could I ask for, right? 🙂
Even though it’s still a little nippy out, there is so much possibility in the air.
The tulips and daffodils are trying to force their way through the soil, the birds are chirping like mad and there are more and more people outside walking around everyday.
It feels… Hopeful. And I love it.
Also, the snow is almost all gone. And the beaches are still pretty empty. But once it starts warming up, the walkers will be out in full force.
I want to be out there in full force walking for miles everyday. But for now all I can manage is about 20-30 minutes because of the windchill.
I suspect in about another few weeks though I’ll be able to get some serious mileage on my walks.
Oh well. They say good things come to those who wait.
Speaking of waiting. I’m still waiting to find something cool at the beach! Treasure hunting has been pretty lackluster so far this year.
I haven’t found a single heart shaped rock {my favorite thing to find} or buoys {maybe the universe thinks I have enough?} or anything else particularly interesting.
It will happen though. Something cool always washes up. Eventually.
Well, I’m off to bundle wool. I hope you have a great day. 🙂
