Last night The HH and I went to the Senior Center to play BINGO! 🙂
Okay, so maybe I dragged him there but it was SO MUCH fun! I spotted a flyer a few weeks ago in a store and told him we should go check it out.
Yada yada yada… Apparently you only have to be FIFTY to join our local senior center.
We didn’t actually join {yet} because Bingo is open to the public, but still, how crazy is that? I had no idea I was a senior. I thought we still had a few years.
Neither of us could remember the last time we played Bingo. Elementary school maybe? We actually had to ask how to play. HA HA HA. Luckily they had print outs for newbies.
Do you play Bingo? How does this prize money payout look to you?
We each paid $25 for 2 ½ hours of entertainment. I didn’t really understand how many “cards” we bought since some {all?} were used twice {?}.
But in my book $25 for 2 ½ hours of entertainment was a great deal.
And there were snacks!!
I bought a weenie for $3.
And a few other things. 🙂
Neither of us won any cash prizes… But we were both one number away several times.
Maybe next time?
Bingo night at the senior center. It was so much fun. And probably the best date night so far this year.

Our local library has free bingo night about every other night. It is so much fun! They have free snacks and there are prizes. Trinkets, books, gift cards, etc…if you bingo you draw a gift out of a big bag. You get what you draw. Whole families come. It is chaos, but a free night out and it really is great fun. They also offer free movie nights.

Yay for you two! Our little town has free Bingo for seniors at Town Hall once a month. No cash prizes but things like free Chick fil A cards are the prizes. Like you we’ve been meaning to go.

I play at the local senior center in the winter. Very fun! I have not won any money yet:(
The age to join for us is 55. I am certainly the youngest member by far. I am enjoying the opportunity to meet new folks!

Our community has Turkey Bingo, Ham Bingo and then the Senior center does it too. Not sure if I could get my DH to go with me.

Our local high school graduation class has a monthly bingo as a fund raiser and three of us started to go just for something to do. I’ve won a few times, mostly enough to pay for my evening. Best prize? A bag that says , “ what happens at bingo stays at bingo” and a couple of daubers.

When I was in my teens we hosted family Thanksgiving and we often played BINGO after dinner. It was so fun!

Oh my goodness don’t know how I missed this yesterday. Over the years we’ve had so much fun at bingo at our village hall with my late MIL her telling Nick and I to shush! We giggling with the kids who used to enjoy it too. Never played it for money although may be once in Spain but we struggled with the numbers then (we didn’t win obviously) we would be better now as can count in Spanish but that also was very good fun and they were a friendly crowd! And the Spanish had fantastic free snacks! Happy memories 🙂

I play bingo once a month at the local Senior Center. $20 for a booklet and a fun night.

Check out your local fire department. Ours has great turnout of all ages and great dollar pay offs. This also supports the local fire company but also other community events. Every Monday….a great night.
