While I was in London last month I found a burrata and prosciutto salad with pesto and cantaloupe in the Harrods food hall that I knew I’d want to recreate as soon as I got home.
And last night I did! 🙂
Tasting new things, and discovering new recipes are one of my favorite parts about traveling and I am SO GLAD I found this salad.
I have a feeling it will be my go to salad recipe when we have friends over this winter.
The only thing different from the salad I made from the one Harrods sold is the edible gold leaf that Harrod’s sprinkles on the top of theirs.
Yes the gold leaf adds a little glamour to the salad, but nothing to the taste so I omitted it.
My husband gave this salad a 10/10.
Seriously, this burrata and prosciutto salad with pesto and cantaloupe is wonderful {and the combination of ingredients is unusual too!} I know you’re going to love it as much as the HH and I do.
I hope you’ll give it a go. You’ll be so glad you did!

B Hawkins says
Seems like the prosciutto might be a little difficult to eat if left in slices? How did you find it to eat?
Mavis Butterfield says
You can always cut it into pieces. 🙂
