Have you had a hard time checking the blog in the last two days? It’s been super wonky on my end and I wasn’t able to write a post this morning. I think the tech guys have fixed the problem though.
If you are here, reading this now, could you do me a favor?
Can you let me know if you’ve had problems checking the blog in the last 36-48 hours? And if so, does everything look as it should now?
The page load time? How’s that? Is it better now?
Thanks for all your help!! I hope you have a great weekend. I’ll be busy picking tomatoes and painting some back to school buoys for the fence.
I can’t believe it’s almost time for the school bus to pass by already. Where has this summer gone?

Good morning from smoke-filled Washington. Yes I’ve had trouble the last couple days getting your blog to load. This is the first time it has loaded. It still took a little longer to load than usual, but at least it loaded. That’s a start.

Had a bit of a problem yesterday but finally worked out. I don’t know how long it would have taken because I left the site and came back later. Everything seems fine now. Thanks for letting us know because I wondered if it was on my end. I love your site by the way and have followed you since you were in Gig Harbor! Linda

I can see you now, but yes, I’ve had issues with the page not loading without closing and reopening it several times. It happened again this morning, but after 1 refresh, it came up. So, from what I’m seeing, it seems to be fixed.

Hi Mavis! The page load time is still long. It wouldn’t load, so I went to do something else. When I came back, it was loaded. Transitions on the page are still a little slow and ads are popping up in front of the blog, instead of just on the bottom and sides. Hopefully it will work better soon.

I’ve been having a difficult time with your blog…it takes forever to load up, so I close it out and go back to it several hours later and it usually comes right back up. It was the same this morning, so glad your are working on it!

Yesterday it loaded fine. Today up until about 10 minutes ago it would not load and I got a “gateway timed out” message. It is back to normal now.

Additionally, a 504 Gateway Timeout error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request

I tried several times this morning with no luck. I left to run errands & tried again just now. The first time this afternoon, around 3:23pm eastern, it gave me a gateway error. I refreshed again & it loaded slowly. I’m using Safari mobile. I primarily view the blog on Feedly, & it appears that the post loaded on Feedly 4 hr ago. It didn’t show up on Feedly yesterday, but that happens any time you’re using a refreshed older post like a recipe so I didn’t think anything of it & was able to view the post directly on your site.

The page loaded fine for me, but when I went to Pin the recipe of the zucchini tart, it wouldn’t load. So I went to Pinterest and your page wasn’t loading there either. After reading this, I tried again and it loaded right up. Now I got it saved so we can make it.

I don’t check the blog. I wait until I get a notification from Feedly telling me you’ve added a new post. That came through this afternoon.
Everything loaded except two ads. It loaded quickly but it’s not scrolling smoothly.

Had a hard time yesterday getting it to load but it finally did. Today? Holy Moley it hasn’t loaded all darn day tried about a gazillion times finally got it to load just now at 9pm. This just can’t happen yours is the first thing I read each and every morning. Oh the peaches look devine and boy have we enjoyed peaches from our tiny little farmers market close by. Glad you are all fixed up now.

I was able to get it to load yesterday very slowly (like 2 minutes or so to load) and couldn’t load Thursday. It loaded about just fine this morning. I’m glad you are back. I’m using the Brave browser from Eastern Washington.

I haven’t checked the blog in the last few days but it loaded fine just now when I clicked the link in the email. The email link uses a redirect through Feedblitz and that seemed to take a few seconds to connect me to the actual blog.
