On Saturday we met up with Kiln Guy and The Chef for pizza and a movie. Scratch that. It wasn’t a movie, but rather CatVideoFest 2026.
We did this very same thing {pizza and cat videos} a few years ago and had a blast so when I noticed CatVideoFest was playing at the Lincoln theater again I texted Kiln Guy to see if they wanted to go.
They did! And so we went.
Never in a million years would I think grown adults would line up to watch a compilation of cat videos. And enjoy it. It still cracks me up that this is a thing… Cat videos.
But hey, what else are you going to do on a Saturday afternoon, right?
The HH bought himself a bag of popcorn. And then fell asleep about halfway through the show.
Fact: The theater was filled with about 90% adults and 10% kids. Which I thought was hilarious for some reason.
On the way home we stopped by Solo Pane e Pasticceria in Bath and I bought 2 raspberry linzer torte squares.
I gobbled one up on the way home {with tea I had packed in a thermos because hey – you can’t miss tea time} and saved the other one for the next day.
And check this out. The Kiln Guy gifted me 5 vintage galvanized watering cans!!! How cool was that?
He knows I’ve been collecting them for an upcoming display and these ones are real beauties. I think he said the one on the back right was used for adding water to radiators.
I just LOVE old watering cans and terracotta pots, don’t you? They are so much more interesting than most of the mass produced stuff we see today.

Cat video fest sounds like a great event and that poster is fantastic. If I went I would be asking to buy it after the event ends.
