What do you do when you are a gardener at heart but live in the city without an inch of an actual garden? You grow everything in pots, that’s what you do.
Yesterday as I was walking through the Chelsea neighborhood {for the first time!} I spotted dwelling after dwelling with topiaries, window boxes and even just a pot or two out front.
And they all seemed so perfect. Each and everyone of them.
Before visiting England, I would have never thought to place topiaries in pots. But after seeing it done here, I think it’s given me the encouragement I need to give it a try back home in Maine.
Fingers crossed I can find a deal or two on a couple of topiaries this fall when all the nurseries are clearing out their inventory for the winter.
No garden… But WOW. What a color. 😉
The Chelsea neighborhood gardens… I am in love.
Have a great day everyone, I hope it’s sunny wherever you are.

P.S. I thought this pub {yes, I said PUB!} was crazy cute too!! Window boxes and topiaries, I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of them. They just sort of go together, don’t you think?

Reminds me of Beacon Hill in Boston. Beautiful.
