Yesterday after popping a load of laundry in a washing machine at the local laundromat in the charming village of Moreton-in-Marsh, we stopped off at a place called Martha’s for tea and a toastie. 🙂
Well actually I had tea and a scone and the HH had a toasty {toasted sandwich}. Both were fantastic.
While the HH ran back to the laundromat to put our clothes in the dryer, I looked around Cotswold Grey… Basically my all time favorite home store in the Cotswolds.
I first found this shop last fall when my friend Jen and I were in the area and I knew I had to go back.
Some people could walk into a Home Goods store and find everything they’d need to furnish their house in 10 minutes. I could walk around Cotswold Grey and do it in 5.
Simply put, I love everything about this store. The beautiful mix of old and new and neutral colors just make me feel good.
The details on this old chippy white cupboard!!!
Maybe it’s all the old stone buildings, or the brick paths or that everything just looks so effortless… The vibe, the look or whatever you want to call it’s just so calming. It’s all so dreamy to me.
I think if we stay here much longer I might need to look into a shipping container. 🙂
Here’s to another beautiful day of exploring.

What is the website, that you mentioned, a long while ago that
you follow for houses for sale in England?

I was wondering about that myself. In fact I can see it now. Rent the lobster house for oodles and piles, get House Hunters International to help you find new digs, then blog from Europe. That would REALLY put you on the map.
