Good morning from London, England!!
Or more specifically the EL&N Cafe where the tea is hot and the pastries are out of this world. 🙂
If you ever make it to London, you MUST stop here!!! They have some of the best pastries around and I want to sample each and every one of them.
Red eye flights have their advantages. Not only can you sleep on the plane, but you arrive just as the cafes are opening and so you have the first pick of all the delicious treats.
My favorite part about visiting London is how walkable the city is and that there is no shortage of good places to eat.
I’ll be here for a week {on assignment} and I plan to squeeze in as much eating {and power walking} as possible.
Remember when I said it was going to be a busy summer with lots or projects and lots of travel?
Well, I’d like to think I’m in the thick of it right now, but who knows? Maybe there’s more around the corner that I don’t even know about yet.
I suppose we never really know, do we?
This morning I tried the biscoff {square!} croissant from EL&N and you know what? It was FABULOUS!!!
I’m going to have to put in at least 10 miles a day to keep up with all the delicious treats I’ll be inhaling while I’m here. If you’ve ever been to London and you have a favorite pastry shop, please let me know in the comments below.
I’m off to Kew Gardens this morning to check on the vegetable patch and greenhouses. I promise to take lots of photos for you.
Gardens + Pastries. I can’t think of a better way to spend the day.
Cheers!

When I travel abroad, I always research boulangerie-patisserie type mom and pop places, the hole in the wall local cuisine places, and a chocolatier or two. I love not eating like an American and just enjoying their food like a local, it makes the experience more authentic and better. Enjoy the pastries and tea stops on your journey, I cannot wait to see all the beautiful places of deliciousness.
