We stopped by Estabrooks in Falmouth the other day to look around at the plants. I don’t know about you, but I LOVE a good nursery!!
Especially ones that are stuffed to the gills with pretty much every plant imaginable.
We aren’t exactly in the market for any plants, but it’s still fun to look around and see what’s in bloom.
Begonias!!! I bought an indoor begonia from Trader Joe’s last year and it was so pretty and easy to maintain… I should get another one this winter.
I think a few of you have mentioned that begonias overwinter well. Maybe if I can find another spot in the garden I’ll plant a few. {So many plants! So little room.}
I’m loving all the dahlias that are in bloom right now.
My hibiscus still has another month to go though so it was nice to see a few in bloom at Estabrooks.
I LOVE that color of blue!!
And this wire trellis.
I wouldn’t be super crazy about paying $267 for a rusty piece of garden art though.
If you’re in need of giant trees for your garden, Estabrooks is the place to go.
You may have to sell a kidney though.
Do you have any giant dogwoods in your yard?
Well the going price is $650 in case you didn’t know.
I thought these hornbeam trees were pretty cool looking.
Luckily though, I don’t have room for any trees. 😉 It never costs anything to look though, right?
Wishing you a fun filled day.

We now live in a highrise apartment for 62 and older but I still love to go to the nursery to look at plants. I did love the rusty arbor but you can go to farm stores (Tractor Supply) comes to mind and you can get what is called Cattle Panels which is the same exact thing. I am not sure of the price but they are so sturdy and for next year you might want to think about it as a way to grow pumpkins (or even small watermelons!) all kinds of fruit that will grow up the sides of the panels and makes a darling arbor. Just a thought.

34.99$ for 50″ by 16′. Just helped my sis install a few. They had some more pricy ones though.

I was going to say the exact same thing about cattle panels! One of the YouTubers I watch made arches with them and had pumpkins hanging down from them last year!
I have a giant dogwood but I doubt it would bring a good price. It leans terribly, has English Ivy growing all the way up to the top and the branches on one side are also covered in it. It looks like a giant Sasquatch chasing someone! I’ve begged for years for it to be cut down but my husband refuses because that is where the hummingbirds nest every year. So I have a Sasquatch and hummingbirds in my back yard! Priceless!
