Happy Thanksgiving!
May your day be filled with more pie than you know what to do with and leftovers so you don’t have to cook for the next week!
Have a great day everyone,

I’m sitting in front of a fire, sipping my second cup of coffee, trying to build up the ‘want-to’ for all the cooking and everything that goes with it. I’m getting there.
Good thing we’re eating at 5.

Once again Mavis comes through! I ran out of pumpkin pie spice and turkey seasoning yesterday and quickly looked up Mavis’s spice mix recipes. I’m refilling my stock and adding new from my home grown herbs. Thanks for years of fun and handy tips Mavis.
Happy Turkey Day!!

I knew when you shared with us your packing list for your National Parks hiking trip earlier this fall and you mentioned a dress long time blog readers would know what you were referring to ( did you say “fancy”, “party” ? Not that it matters… ) that it was your pilgrim dress! Love it ! Gotta make room in the suitcase for what matters

We live near Plimoth Plantation, now renamed Plimoth and Pawtuxet Museums. Years ago we enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner there complete with interpreters who had dinner among us. It was great, but nothing compares with having a meaningful meal with loved ones, preceeded by a long walk around a huge Cranberry bog to start this glorious day. Hope you all enjoyed the day, wherever it took you.
