Online Things
It was a busy week in the online department. I made two videos!
- How To Dye Wool {from start to finish}
- Rug Hooking Tutorial {my spring posies kit}
I wasted a ridiculous amount of time online researching a couple of different things but did manage to stay off my phone most of the time. I made a list of online things I needed to get done and only got about half of them done. ;(
I was also able to work on my giant whale rug # 3 for a few hours yesterday.

The first harvest of the season is going to take place any day now and it’s going to be HUGE… HUGE I tell you!
If I’m lucky all three strawberries will ripen on the same day and I can whip up a strawberry shortcake for dinner. YES, I said dinner.
Also, my teeny tiny garden is coming along. The tomato plants are looking really good, the beans are up and the radishes are too.
I’ll have to go out and snap some photos to share.

Travel Things
The HH and I went to New Haven, CT last week for pizza and had a blast. I told him we need to go on more mini trips. {He said he’s up for any trip that involves pizza}.
Overnights are so much fun and it doesn’t feel like a massive undertaking in the planning department.
Keeping it simple. We need to do more of it.
I had hoped to have gone on a few mini day trips around Maine by now but now it’s tourist season so that’s out. I guess we’ll have to wait until fall to explore Maine.
- Explore more of the great state of Maine
- Go on a painting holiday {BOOKED!}
- Québec City {Accommodations and 1 tour booked!}
- Travel Overseas {All accommodations and 2 events are booked!}
Send the HH on a vacation{He went to NYC!}
Marriage Things
We went on a few walks, went on an adventure and ate some good food so this past week was a big success.
The HH also got a few things done around the house and you’re not going to believe this… Cut some more buoys out for me.
I told him I want to set up my little garden cart out front with some buoys and lobster ornaments and see if the tourists will buy them. Why not give it a go? A girl’s got to have a little pastry money, right?
Marriage Goals
- Keep my husband busy
- Date days
- Walk more
So what have YOU been up to lately? Are you making progress on your goals? Curious minds want to know.
Have a good one,
