Online Things
I am currently at 19,990 “sales” on Etsy!! I’m SO CLOSE. Only 10 more to go until I hit my goal of 20,000 sales.
This past week I dyed a little wool, made a few kits and worked on a pattern I’ve had in my stash since last winter.
I have a big stack of small rugs that I’ve hooked that I need to turn into pillows. Maybe in the new year?
We might get snow this week {fingers crossed} which means everything will slow down and the streets will get quiet. I love this time of year!

House Things
The new light fixtures are in!
They’re a little larger than the old ones but they give off great light and they are solar activated which we really like. I found them on Costco.com.
I was able to get the trim around the windows painted in the living room. Hooray!
Next up is for the HH to install the curtain rods and then we’ll be able to take the paper off the front windows.
Before he can install the rods though I still have one more beam to strip in the living room {hopefully today}.
We’re staying busy, that’s for sure.

Garden Things
The fall decorations are down and Christmas is up!
Everything is looking pretty festive not only at our place but around town too. I’ll have to remember to snap some pictures for you.
Apparently the fall wreath I hung on the door wasn’t meant for the outdoors {weird} and it molded.
The leaves on the wreath are a goner but I am going to try and save the frame and turn it into some sort of glorious Valentine’s Day wreath for the colonial door.
The HH said I should just chuck the whole thing… Nope. Not gonna happen.
Fact: you can buy 1 waxed amaryllis bulb at the Home Depot for $19.98 or a set of 3 at Costco for $21.99.
Garden Goals
- Grow 365 pounds of food * Nope. Didn’t happen. Maybe next year?
Install a side yard {flower} garden{DONE!}Make a Potting Bench{decided I didn’t need one} Wait. Now I do. 😉MakeFIND a Garden Cart to sell flowers/veggies out front{DONE}
Kitchen Things
Nothing new to report from the kitchen other than I miss salads.
Miss Lucy hurt her left leg jumping off the couch the other day. Poor thing.
We’ve been giving her Galliprant {and anti-inflammatory} and trying to keep her away from stairs and not going on walks, which has been really hard.
Every year, as soon as the weather turns cold she has a hard time and we have to be careful.
Does this happen with your dog too?
Kitchen Goals

Travel Things
My friend Jen called. She wants to go to Italy in the spring. She thinks renting a car and driving down the coast would be a great adventure. {I’m supposed to do the driving. HA HA HA.}
I have a $700 credit with British Airways that’s burning a hole in my pocket.
The use it or lose it credit has to be redeemed by next August. I checked and can get a round trip ticket for less than $600 if I fly economy.
Neither of us speak Italian. Which I think is sort of a BIG DEAL but what do I know?
I do know I love salami, cheese and pastries and that she is SO FUN to travel with. Hmm.
- Explore more of the great state of Maine
- Go on a painting holiday

Marriage Things
The HH kept busy this past week. He hung the freshly painted bathroom door, installed new hinges and door knobs and some floating shelves in the living room too.
He’s such a handy guy! I told him he should turn pro.
He said it’s too cold to go walking {it’s been really windy too which makes it seem even colder} and that he’d rather stay indoors and work on house projects.
Which is a really, really good thing! 🙂
The Christmas decorations are up {outside} and things are coming along. Fingers crossed he doesn’t ask about where his major award is.
A girl can hope, right?
I hope you have a nice Sunday. Stay warm and stay out of trouble.

I bet you’ll sell those last 10 by today or tomorrow. How exciting. Congrats!
You should go to Italy! I’ve seen my friends pictures and it is stunning. The food looks great too.
Are the outdoor lights for your main house or studio house? They look nice.
I look forward seeing you check off your goals every week. Can’t wait to see what you come up with for 2026.
