Yesterday Kiln Guy and The Chef stopped by to check out our latest project and give their opinion.
They brought us cookies and some purple Cherokee tomatoes from their garden and we sat around drinking tea and sampling a few treats I had brought back from London.
I asked how their {vegetable} garden was doing this year and was surprised to hear that the raised beds they had built were not the huge success they had hoped they’d be.

At least on the tomato front. They didn’t get as many as they had hoped too and think they may have over crowded them so next year they’re going to try growing some of their tomatoes in grow bags.
Gardening. I love it. Even the years when the garden is a little off. There is always something to learn and the end of the season always brings new ideas to try the following year.
I think it’s why I keep coming back to it year after year.
After enjoying our talk over tea and treats downstairs, we all headed up stairs and crowded into the bathroom.
Important decisions needed to be made.
Like where to put the toilet paper holder and towel bar.
In the end we decided to put the towel bar under the window and the toilet paper holder on the wall.
Rain is in the forecast for this weekend, which means I finally have a solid reason to stay inside and finish up painting the trim and the ceiling.
Then it will be time for a new blind and to throw some pictures up on the wall.
We’re getting there! One little bit at a time.
How about YOU? What are your plans for this weekend? Anyone going clubbing? I’m all out of glitter or I’d be out there on the dance floor with you.
