The best part about having visitors is playing tourist in your own backyard. Here’s a few photos from one of my favorite fall scenic drives in all of New England. The Kancamagus Highway.
The leaves around here may have just begun to change color, but the drive yesterday was gorgeous!
Fall in New England. It’s simply the best!
I hope you have a great day,

I moved south to the Mtns of NC from NH a while back.
This post made me remember the very best part of living in New England.

Oh Mavis I was homesick for New England even before I ever came there. In my mind I have always lived there. As antique dealers it was always our most favorite place to travel and scout out the best finds and ideas. Still love it oh so much. You are so fortunate to live there year round (I just could not take the winters now that I am older) but my husband says we could still move there! Beautiful pictures.

We drove the Kank one fall when our daughter lived in Maine. I agree that it was beautiful. We were living in an RV at the time so we drove south from there so slowly that we had wonder color for weeks. I am so glad we got to experience that.
