Wallingford Farm – Kennebunk

Yesterday I was able to pop by one of my favorite places, Wallingford Farm in Kennebunk and decided to snap a few photos to share.

It’s no big secret around here that I love farmstands and garden centers and well, Wallingford Farm does such a great job decorating for all the different seasons, it’s hard not pull over and see what’s new when you’re in the area.

I actually popped by for a bundle of Indian Corn for the front door and the ears were HUGE!!! At least 14” long.

What I really enjoyed the most though was seeing all the different varieties of mums and how they were grouped with all the different kinds of pumpkins.

If you are in need of some fall decorating inspiration, this is the place to go.

Inside they have tons of baked goods, jams, local cheese and candy. I forgot to check to see if they had apple cider.

Maybe that’s in another week or two?

They even have the Christmas barn decorated!!! I don’t need anything in the Christmas decoration department but it sure is nice to look up at all the dried flowers.

Some years they hang oodles of hydrangeas, some years it’s sunflowers but it looks like statice is the big winner this year.

It kind of makes you want to own a gigantic barn just so you can fill it with canned goods, pies and dried flowers. HA HA HA. A girl can dream right?

I hope you have a good weekend. I’ll be sitting on a bucket, staining the back fence as soon as the sun comes out.

Peace out.
