Packing Light for Carry On Travel

Pretend for a moment you and 3 of your friends are traveling Planes, Trains and Automobiles style on an epic 5 day road trip across the country and you just happen to be packing nearly 500 gnomes along with you just for kicks.

Since you are dropping gnomes off along your route and flying is on the agenda, packing light for carry on travel is key.

Here are the photos of what we packed in our carry on bags and “personal” items:

Additional baggage? Yep, we’ve got that too! Paying $25 for an extra “bag” {box} up to 50 pounds was a whole lot cheaper than shipping them.

So what do you think? Did we leave anything behind?

You are flying instead of Motorgnome-ing?

  3. Christy Austin says:

Dear Dear Mavis, I love that you never leave home without your banana slicer. Makes sense, especially on a trip such as this.

  4. I’m confused. I thought you were in a rented car. When did you decide to fly part of the journey? Or is this an exercise in imagination? You can’t very well gnome people from the air!
Are you flying from main city to main city, and renting cars each city to do the gnoming?
I thought this was a “road trip?”
    I am still confused…

So, do you use the clorox wipes instead of undies? Is this another comando trip? I don’t see any intimates.
