I am your typical housewife living in high maintenance suburbia. I have a handsome husband, 2 kids and a flock of pet chickens. I try and feed my family with $100 a month. With the help of coupons, gardening and bartering I am able to squeeze the most out of our grocery budget and still manage to have a little fun along the way.
Since Thanksgiving and food are synonymous, I figured you’d need a few awesome recipes to help you put together an epic feast {of any size}. I’ve made all of these. They are Mavis approved. I’ve also served all of them at one time or another at one of our Thanksgiving dinners, and they all got the Butterfield family seal of approval. What does that tell you? There are all sorts of tasty recipes below to choose from. Gobble gobble!

Those scalloped potatoes are seriously the best. I make them every Thanksgiving and Christmas and sometimes the hubs can talk me into making them during the year too.
