Lucy is a puggle and we could not imagine life without her! We’ve had her for about 2 years, and even though she is occasionally naughty, she is so adorable, we forgive her. She is a part of our family, so of course I blog all about her! Check out every last Lucy the Puggle Dog post HERE.
Hi Mavis! Quick question for you. I noticed during your remodel posts that we both have the same new LG washer & dryer. Do you have any problems using your homemade laundry tabs in your washer? Mine would not completely dissolve the All tabs I happened to have when I got them and I had to switch to liquid. Also just have to tell you my two little girls absolutely love your pumpkin spice muffin and pumpkin spice waffle recipes. They gobble them up! Thanks.
Nicole, your daughters have great taste. I personally have a weakness for anything I use my Pumpkin Pie Spice Recipe in! YUM! As far as the DIY Laundry Detergent Tabs, I’ve never had any issues at all with them not dissolving. I think that’s the beauty of homemade vs. store bought! Let me know how they work for you if you try them out.
I actually found them on Etsy, and if you search”vintage set of English vocabulary cards” you’ll probably find a few for sale. According to the box they came in, they are suppose to be “a convenient method for developing quickly and easily, your knowledge of those choice English words vital for advancement in your career.” Not sure if that’s working, but they are still fun nonetheless!
I did get 45lbs of protein FREE! It is possible because Zaycon Foods is so freakin amazing and they like to not only sell great quality meat at amazing prices, but give back to their customers as well. All I do is use my referral link. And you can too. Just head on over to the Zaycon Foods site and sign up to get your own referral link (won’t cost you a thing!). Then shoot an email out to all your friends and family or on Facebook or what have you, and tell them how great Zaycon is. If they sign up using your link, you get Zaycon credit towards free stuff! Easy peasy!
I would love to do a pallet garden, but can’t find heat treated pallets in my area. Question: if I PAINTED the pallets and sealed them well with a non-toxic paint, would that work? I don’t have any other options.
I wish that would work! If it did, I’d do that all the time. Unfortunately, it wouldn’t duplicate what the heat treatment does, which is keeps the woods from rotting, attracting bugs, shrinking or swelling. If you painted your wood, you’d just have pretty wood that could potentially rot, attract bugs, swell or shrink. No good!
