It’s hard to believe that it has already been a WHOLE YEAR since The Girl graduated. That saying, “the days are long, but the years are short” really couldn’t be more spot on. Last year my neighbor, Hulda, suggested filling a water bottle with quarters as part of The Girl’s graduation gift. It was such a clever idea, I thought, and The Girl ended up agreeing.
Turns out, quarters really are a must for every college student. The Girl used hers mostly for laundry and occasionally to feed the vending machines. Plus, she got one of her favorite water bottles out of the deal.
If you have someone graduating this year, and were planning on giving money, I promise, this one will be a hit. Just be aware, if you go with the bigger Camelbak water bottle like I did, it will take about $100 to fill that sucker up with quarters!
Pretty cool, right?
