Last week started off with leftovers of Mel’s Drunken beans. The weather was really good last week so we spent a bunch of time outside.
Meals were quick and easy and the only time I turned on the stove was to make a batch of cookies or to cook a little bacon for our big salads.
Costco Shopping Trip $101.98
After seeing all those non-fat Greek yogurt containers at The Kiln Guy’s house and learning that he and The Chef eat yogurt with fruit and granola every morning for breakfast, we decided to give it a go.
I’m not a fan of fat free products or the taste of Greek yogurt actually, but they sold us on the idea of it being a super healthy way to start the day.
Grocery Store $9.98
The HH also picked up a few bags of granola while he was out.
Good granola is hard to find! It’s been a while since we’ve bought granola from a store and honestly, homemade granola tastes SO MUCH better!
I should have remembered that! Oh well. After we polish these off, I’ll make a batch.
Big salads are a staple around here.
And the more stuff piled high on them, the better.
Pickety bits are always in season.
And for the first time ever, we picked a good batch of avocados from Costco!
But what I really want to talk about is yogurt bowls.
Do you eat plain {nonfat?} yogurt? If so, do you add mix-ins? If so, what? I tried plain yogurt with blueberries, bananas and granola and honestly, it was like I was shoveling spoonfuls of paste into my mouth.
I ate it, but it definitely wasn’t something I’d jump out of bed for. Maybe I need to add a little sweetener to it? Maybe that would make it more palatable?
Fun Fact: A bowl of yogurt + mix ins has the same amount of calories as a handful of cashews.
⅔ cup plain non fat yogurt 100 calories
⅔ cup granola 110 calories
½ banana 50 calories
½ blueberries 42 calories
————–
302 calories
A little less than 2 ounces of cashews has 300 calories. Interesting! The cashews definitely taste better, but the bowl of yogurt will fill you up! 😉
If you eat plain yogurt, I’d love to know what you add in to make it taste better. The HH says I should try it with a little brown sugar… But brown sugar in yogurt? I don’t know. That seems a little strange. But what do I know?

We add a little raw honey and cinnamon to our plain Greek yogurt, but we buy the Fage 2% Greek yogurt, not nonfat. We also add in fruit and granola sometimes, but we mostly just add a small amount of honey and 1/4 t. Cinnamon.
Jessica says
There is absolutely nothing you can say or do to convince me that Greek yogurt in any form is palatable.. I can pick it out a mile away.. smoothies, baked goods, in a dish 2 rooms away.. sensory overload for me.. (I can handle regular yogurt that is sweetened.. plain gives me the icks) Now the husband swears that if you add some honey and cinnamon it changes the texture/flavor etc and makes it like regular yogurt.. Lying is definitely not his strong point.. BUT the protein packing kid will eat it with the yogurt and loves it.. good for him..cheaper than a tub of powder-lol
Cathy says
We use maple syrup on our plain yogurt. Just a drizzle. And various fruits. Some of my peeps put granola on it. The only granola we use is homemade from your recipe and btw…yogurt is ridiculously easy to make.
Susan says
Same. Maple syrup and just plain yogurt, not Greek. I love the Brown Cow brand. Oh, and why non fat? Always whole for me. Greek is good for marinades and dressing, but I also find it too thick just for eating.
Cindy R says
I think the best Greek yogurt is FAGE Total 0%. It is very rich annd creamy. Also some of the grocery stores in-house brands taste remarkably close. I like to add tart cherries or fresh blueberries, unsweetened coconut flakes from Trader Joe’s, almond pieces or some raisins, and sometimes sliced bananas.
Amy says
Honey and cinnamon on plain yogurt is delicious!
I don’t eat it plain unless it’s whole milk yogurt -I think that tastes richer and sweeter
Nancy says
Brown sugar would definitely make the yogurt bowl better. We add stevia to ours.
Aunt Diane from Streator says
I use Truvia brown sugar replacement on my oatmeal. No calories & very tasty! Would work great in yogurt, too.
Karen says
Love this brown sugar and zero calories!
Patty says
I actually prefer vanilla non-fat Greek yogurt for breakfast. If I have plain yogurt, I’ll add a little honey or maple syrup to sweeten it a bit.
If you have a pressure cooker, it’s really easy to make your own yogurt. It’s actually pretty hands off!
Nancy Settel says
Oh darn you make each picture of food look oh so good. We go through a ton of fat free Greek yogurt here (the plain kind) and we also buy it in the quart size all the time it is always in the fridge. My husband can eat it plain but I need some honey drizzled in it along with some fruit if we have it. If not then just the honey or maple syrup. So much protein to start your day. We no longer buy sour cream (even though I like it a bit better than yogurt) but we use that on baked potato etc. Anytime something calls for sour cream we just sub the yogurt. You got us started on big salads we have always made them but it was hit or miss now my go to is Aldi has an Asian salad and I love it so much. Oh and I love the idea of brown sugar in the yogurt. Would taste much better than the Splenda I use if I don’t have maple syrup.
Kari says
I do eat plain yogurt on occasion, but I’m a bit partial to the higher fat Fage yogurt. It is not as tangy as many of the brands. We usually eat it with frozen mixed berries (thawed) or some low-sugar homemade strawberry freezer jam, as well as homemade granola on top.
I did try the Costco variety, and wasn’t a huge fan. If you come up with some amazing ways to use it, I’d love to hear about it.
Barbie Gable says
Greek yogurt bowls drizzled with honey are one of my go to breakfasts. The honey makes a world of difference!
Erin says
Plain yogurt is one of my favorite foods. I prefer full fat, but either way, I just love the flavor. If I want to get fancy, I’ll add a drizzle of maple syrup over it. That would adjust the texture a bit for you, too, since the as-is texture is a bit thick for your liking. I don’t use sweetener much for anything, but maybe a few times a year I’ll make a bowl with some syrup. It’s a good flavor combo. I like making my yogurt bowl with toasted almonds, hemp seeds, cinnamon & whatever berries I have on hand. Any nuts are great, though.
Linda says
I eat yogurt (Greek Gods honey) with homemade granola almost every morning and I love it! I don’t like fat free & there’s nothing like homemade granola. A friend gave me her recipe a few months ago & I make it every week. I recently bought açaí at Costco & I’ve been alternating that with the yogurt.
Stephanie in Utah says
I eat non fat plain yogurt with mixins. Something just with berries. Usually I thaw some frozen fruit. I often add ground flaxseed, chopped walnuts, grape nuts cereal, protein powder. My best recommendation for you to try is mix in a tablespoon of jam.
Lisa says
Totally agree with adding protein powder! Stonybrook is a good plain yogurt.
Brianna says
I struggle with lactose, so I use plain skyr yogurt. Usually Siggi’s. It is thicker and creamier than Greek yogurt and not as tangy. I never sweeten yogurt as I find the fruit I add to be sweet enough. I also use it in place of recipes that call for sour cream or sometimes cream cheese.
I have noticed over the years as I have bought the family Greek yogurt that the sugars have increased in them as well as addition of guar gum, different cultures, and other ingredients to give them a thicker consistency. Homemade Greek yogurt is usually not thick like the store purchased stuff and not all brands of Greek yogurt are the same.
Virginia says
I second Skyr. I think it’s much better than yogurt — creamy and thick, high protein, and doesn’t have the sour tang. Try the Icelandic Provisions plain whole milk variety if you can find it. I prefer to sweeten mine with my favorite jam; you don’t need much, and that way you can change up the flavor.
Jo from California says
I sprinkle liberally with cinnamon. I second the recommendation to mix in some jam. I also like to add in mincemeat.
Teri says
Maybe try mixing in some of your favorite jam. Blueberries aren’t very sweet so honey would be good too.
MaryG says
I really like Greek yogurt, but I don’t have it by itself. I like it with fresh berries or granola. And sometimes I’ll have it with nuts like sliced almonds with a drizzle of honey. I think honey would work better with yogurt than brown sugar to add some sweetness, but that’s just my preference. I also use it as a base for smoothies and add it to my oatmeal.
wendy panozzo says
Definitely add some jam. I like to add some almond butter for added protein and flavor and also some pepitas as a topping. The sky’s the limit really!
Mona R McGinnis says
I’m now making yogurt at home in the crockpot. Add ins – jam; vector cereal; maple syrup; frozen or canned fruit or combination thereof.
Sheila says
I eat nonfat Greek yogurt every morning too. For me the trick is add honey or maple syrup and stir it in well with the yogurt, then top with the granola and blueberries or strawberries.
Emily S. says
My girls eat whole milk yogurt with granola almost every morning (especially school mornings) and they love putting honey on the yogurt first because “plain yogurt is gross” – they would agree with you about paste for sure!
They enjoy the Sam’s club granola but for how much they eat I should probably start making it, they’re turning into pirhanas this summer!
Denise says
If the problem is texture, Greek yogurt can be a little thick, so I add a bit of milk or almond milk to thin it out and then add my mix-ins. I found this helpful because my preference is for the Oui French-style yogurt, but due to its high sugar content, I’ve started saving it for an occasional dessert and using the Greek yogurt for breakfast.
Kelly-Jo says
I love Greek yogurt with non sweetener but my kids don’t. For them, I drizzle some honey over the top and that helps!
Sue R. says
I make a very low sugar fruit syrup from a mixture of berries. Using that rather than just berries really flavors the yogurt as you stir it in. And always homemade yogurt!
Laure says
We eat greek yogurt with mix-ins but not nonfat yogurt. For mainstream brands, we like Fage much better than other brands. Perhaps try 2% and see if you like it better. Fat isn’t all bad. Studies seem to show that it depends on what health aspect you are targeting whether nonfat or full-fat (or something in between) is better for an individual. A mix-in you haven’t mentioned is chia seeds. This can be eaten directly, or mixed in and refrigerated, which makes it sort-of like tapioca pudding. Drizzling honey and/or mixing honey in is still pretty healthy and goes with lots of other toppings – great with blueberries and granola.
Then again, I’m not much of a dessert person and don’t like overly sweet things. I actually prefer good quality greek yogurt with blueberries to most traditional desserts 🙂
Elizabeth M says
Brown sugar or maple syrup in yogurt is delicious. It needs a little something to sweeten and flavor it along with the fruit and granola/cereal. It’s one of my favorite breakfasts.
Also, I’ve never liked nonfat yogurt. The texture isn’t right, IMO. Lowfat yogurt has a smoother, creamier feel to it that makes it much more enjoyable to eat.
Mary says
Maybe add some vanilla extract to the plain yogurt.
Julie V says
I buy plain Greek yogurt. I use it in baking, as a sour cream substitute, and in making things like salad dressing. And of course, smoothies.
The yogurt granola topping thing… I am diabetic so I mix in sugar free stuff but honey and vanilla mixed in are delicious, or stevia. You can play around with a dab of extracts from your cupboard too…just a very small dab. Lemon or almond, for example. Or mix in a bit of instant coffee to the yogurt and sweetener and include some chocolate chips with that granola and nuts combo on the top of the yogurt . Or make a dipping sauce out of the yogurt to dip your fresh fruit in. My mom did cooked oatmeal daily for years with yogurt, flax seeds, fruit, and nuts on top and loved it.
Christie says
I eat yogurt every day. A good combo is chopped apples and PB Fit powder (for added protein) along with a small amount of granola and a few walnuts. It keeps me full ’til lunch and packs over 30g of protein! If the yogurt is too thick, add just a little water to change the consistency. Here’s hoping you find the winning combo!
Jean C says
I was going to suggest adding in some PB powder and a touch of honey. I sometimes melt a couple squares of a quality dark chocolate or a few chocolate chips and drizzle on top (you can refrigerate to make it harden to a shell in just a few moments.
That said, I love plain yogurt with fruit (whatever is around) and a little granola on top. Sometimes I add a half of a flavored yogurt to the plain yogurt to make it a tad sweeter and colorful.
Heather says
A light drizzle of maple syrup and a sprinkle of cinnamon is very good. Purely Elizabeth Orignal Granola is very good too. My favorite combo is plain greek yogurt, blackberries/ blueberries or strawberries, granola, drizzle of maple syrup and cinnamon. I have also used greek yogurt in place of sour cream for recipes and to top baked potatoes!
Margo says
I like the plain yogurt from Costco. We add peanut butter and mix well, and a little maple syrup with the granola.
Felicia says
Eat full fat greek yogurt, the fat with the protein will help you to feel satiated longer. A little coconut sugar or agave is a great sweetener to add along with fruit/nuts etc.
PNW Vickie says
Maple syrup makes anything better!
Lynn says
I don’t really know how less healthy it is but I like vanilla bean yogurt (currently buying Trader Joe’s because my husband loves their yogurt and it’s priced right). I add whatever I have – strawberries, blueberries, banana, raisins, granola and/or walnuts. I like it and it has some added sugar so it has a bit of sweetness and isn’t tart (or taste like paste).
Lana says
To eat yogurt that way I buy vanilla and it is yummy. Plain goes in smoothies here.
suzanne says
I remember eating plain yogurt many times in Crete with a very generous amount of honey on top. Probably full fat. Good reminder about the calories in a handful of nuts. It really adds up if you’re just grabbing a lil snack between meals.
Made Mel’s drunken beans last week as I wanted to tidy the pantry and freezer. I had to use an unmarked package of Costco sausages and dried limas. It was still absolutely delicious. It’s the perfect trifecta of seasonings, malty beer and pork. I can’t wait to try it with the pinto’s and maybe a tad more jalapeño as my jar was nearly empty.
Eris C says
Maple syrup is my preferred sweetener. I prefer the full fat (whole milk) Greek yogurt vs non-fat or low fat. I start my morning with a bowl of organic overnight oats heated on the stove, topped with Greek yogurt, a drizzle of maple syrup, and blueberries.
My kids like the plain yogurt as a treat with a scoop of PB Fit and Nesquik stirred in. They enjoy it and so much less sugar than the stuff at the grocery store.
Laura says
I eat plain yogurt with fruit and granola every day for lunch. Make my own yogurt and granola. Don’t add any sweeteners because I prefer it that way, but you might enjoy a drizzle of hhoney.
Susan says
I would add in some flavored protein powder, or could use a bit of stevia and some vanilla extract.
I also add peanut powder and salt and use as an apple dip.
Sue says
Oikos Triple Zero (any flavor) is my go-to. I’d prefer a little fat in it, but whaddya gonna do?
If Oikos TZ is not on sale, I will pick a reduced-fat Greek vanilla brand.
Mix-ins include a few Tbs. of grain-free granola and/or berries. No honey, ever! (Blech!)
I also really enjoy a 1/2 cup of reduced-fat cottage cheese. No additions; plain is perfect.
Lesa says
I eat Islandic Provisions yogurt with strawberries, blueberries and Keto granola that I get at Costco. I love it and it tastes delicious!
Mandy says
I add in a spoonful of jelly before anything else and mix. Makes a world of difference!
Sue S. says
Ditto, I figure that’s what you’re paying for with the little cups of “fruit on the bottom” yogurt
Pauline in Upstate NY says
Yogurt bowl – yes, please! I’ll skip all the added sugars and choose my own. I do prefer the 5% fat whole milk Greek yogurt (plain), then I’ll top it with a drizzle of maple syrup and some fresh or frozen fruits, some granola with nuts, and eat it with no guilt!
Pat says
I keep a seasoning jar of cinnamon and sugar mixed that I add to my oatmeal. Now I also sprinkle it over plain Greek yogurt. I bet the brown sugar would be good too.
Patti M says
I’ve been loving yogurt bowls lately. I never by choice go non fat for my base though.
I enjoy fage 2 percent or higher. I use a little bit of agave syrup over the top. I see a lot of people are using maple syrup, I’m sure that’s delicious too. Then I add a mixture of berries and a bit of muesli to the top. Very yummy!
Catherine says
I make my own whole milk yogurt. I use stevia to sweeten since I can’t have sugar, lots of fresh blueberries and then I substitute chopped pecans for the granola. Gives me the crunch but not all the sugar.
Joyce Dvorak says
I have plain Greek yogurt with blueberries and walnuts for summer, adding Stevia or coconut sugar. If you add more fruit and nuts, it tastes less pasty.
I also mix yogurt with self-rising flour, a 50-50 ratio, and roll it out to cook as flatbread with a little oil on the stovetop. It makes a nice high protein bread.
Becky-TN says
We eat FULL FAT homemade greek yogurt that I make in our Instant Pot….plain, no additions. I stopped caring about calories and started caring a lot more about insulin, glucose and carbs. No more granola for us. It did a number on my glucose when I needed to wear a CGM to rule out pre-diabetes.
Sue S. says
How do you make yogurt in a slow cooker? Do you mean a crackpot? Can you share the recipe source?
JulieP says
We eat full fat plain Greek yogurt every day, sometimes Fage sometimes Lidl or Aldi own brand. It’s delicious on its own but more often we have it as ‘YFM’ yogurt, fruit, muesli! I add flaked almonds and mixed seeds and a teaspoon sometimes of runny honey or agave syrup. We have this in the fridge ready to go for two or three breakfasts a week. Like overnight oats but overnight YFM! I make dressings with it for pasta salad and I use it in my coleslaw cutting some of the mayonnaise out. I dolop it on chilli, stir it into curries, soups, risottos we eat a lot of Greek yogurt. 🙂
Anne says
I know some people have said adding peanut butter already, but I take 1 cup of yogurt, add 1 Tb natural crunchy PB for some texture-and hear me out-crushed graham crackers. The texture might kill you but adding 1 tsp of mini chocolate chips adds more crunch and makes it feel a little extra but so much better than the kid marketed yogurt cups with Oreos and M and M’s and junk. And honestly, 1 Tb mini chocolate chips isn’t that much worse
Katy K says
I eat plain, full-fat Greek yogurt almost everyday. I think the extra calories are worth it, and it’s more filling. I make have it for dessert with frozen blueberries, and milk chocolate chips. I add enough blueberries to it to freeze the yogurt. I pretend it’s chunky ice cream, haha! The blueberries and chocolate chips help balance the tartness of the yogurt.
Dianne Labadie says
My preference is full fat Vanilla yogurt for me. I mix in berries and granola. Honey if my berries are not sweet enough. I use fresh if I can get them and frozen thawed in the winter. I’ve never tried to add anything savory in it. I wonder how Basil would taste in the yogurt and blueberries
Diane says
I can’t do Greek yogurt at all, but vanilla with raw honey is the bomb. OMG! I could eat it at every meal!! I also like it with Grapenuts cereal.
Cathy says
I mash a half a banana into my Greek yoghurt and add a bit of cinnamon. Then top with the granola and a bit more fruit. I really like it.
Sue S. says
For years I have made my own homemade Cranberry sauce-we live in Cranberry country-and I put plain uncooked old fashioned oatmeal-Bobs Red Mill- in a container, add in some plain yogurt, and top with Cranberry sauce;let it sit overnight in the fridge, and take it for lunch the next day. Love it
Tiffany F says
I love plain full fat greek yogurt, but it does have to have granola in it. I make both the yogurt and the granola.
In a pinch I bought store bought greek yogurt last week after a couple years of the homemade, and did not care for it any more. We finished it though.
My kids will add a little honey and vanilla, or a teaspoon or two of jam.
I have also canned the filling from your Best Ever Peach Pie recipe in the past and we’ve pureed that with the yogurt. The kids really love that one.
Mary says
We like to add jam, preferably homemade. Full fat yogurt is more creamy and dense, worth the upgrade in calories—just use less granola.
Peg says
Full fat plain Greek yogurt with natural peanut butter! I prefer Greek Gods vanilla, but I have no common sense with that stuff.
Shannon Young says
We love vanilla flavoured Greek yoghurt. We add a dollop to oatmeal mixed with
stewed apple.
Carol says
I eat nonfat yogurt with fruit almost every morning. I make my own. Super easy, although you don’t get the empty cups. Adding 1/8-1/4 c powdered milk to a generous 4 c of milk thickens it, so the consistency is more like Greek style. If adding granola makes it too pasty, try a looser yogurt-maybe not Greek. My favorite combo is yogurt, roasted cashews, and sliced strawberries with a drizzle of honey. My better half likes his with a spoonful of homemade jam. Yes, I agree, homemade granola is the way to go!
Pamela Sheppard says
I’ve never knowingly eaten plain yogurt. Even just a Greek yogurt can be hit or miss for me. Its a texture issue. Last week I bought a Yoplait High Protein Yogurt and I swore I was eating the tub of white paste we all had as children. It was horrible. But with food being as expensive as it is I ate it and burned the memory of it into my brain so I won’t buy that kind again.
Holley says
Mavis, Mavis, Mavis, you’re thinking about this in the wrong way. Pretend that the yogurt is the filling of a PIE. What would you put in it if it was a pie??? You love lemon tarts, right? Put a dollop of lemon curd! Lemon curd, blueberries and almonds, yum! You don’t need “granola”. You can use a little sprinkle of the regular cereal you like on top. What do you usually put in your oatmeal? Do the same thing to the yogurt. The possibilities are endless!
Gwenn says
I eat whole milk greek yogurt with about a spoon of homemade jam (rasp or mixed berry are my fav’s) with a bit of chopped almonds; some fresh berries and/or banana and muesli. The toppings vary with what I have.
I switched from fat-free to whole milk yogurt because I eat a smaller portion of yogurt because it keeps me feeling full much longer than fat-free stuff. I buy a couple of contains of organic greek plain whole milk yogurt from Aldi.
I have also been known to buy a container of ultra processed milk (again from Aldi, about $4.29) and make my own in my Instant Pot. Tends to be more cost effective than buying a container of yogurt.
Maureen says
I like low fat vanilla yogurt with a spoonful of lemon curd. I add fruit such as blueberries and strawberries. The lemon curd adds just enough sweetness.
Vy says
I put honey or jam on it, or once I made a rhubarb simple syrup and used that, YUM. I also use greek yogurt instead of sour cream in recipes, works like a charm.
Gigi says
In Greece, they’ll eat yogurt with lots of honey poured on top. My Greek husband prefers Fage (Fah-gay). It’s the same as in Greece. I prefer nuts, sesame, chia and with fresh or dried fruit and drizzle honey, maple syrup or jelly.
Molly S. says
I put Trader Joe’s Lemon Curd in my Greek yogurt with homemade granola. Sometimes I add their Tarte Cherry Fruit Spread, too.
Christa H. says
I can’t gag down almost all Greek yogurt. It’s too tangy and makes my tongue curl. BUT I found the whole milk Greek BETTERGOODS brand at Walmart and good grief it tastes so smooth and good without the tang.
I put some in a bowl with a small scoop of raspberry seedless jam, some golden raisins, pecans, fresh fruit, and dried orange pieces and YUMMMMMM. That’s dessert. So far all Bettergoods brand items I have tried have been fantastic.
It was voted best yogurt too by Tasting Table, plus it’s not super expensive.
Ellen C says
Honey is the most wonderful addition to make yogurt yummy. Or you could add some of the preserves and jellies you make. And all of the other goodies pictured of course!
Stacie says
This is how I eat plain yogurt:
Add protein powder (SunWarrior berry flavor works well or Ghost Nutter Butter Flavor). Sometimes I add a tiny bit of water to make sure it’s all mixed well and since Greek Yogurt is so thick, the water helps.
I make a chia seed pudding & yogurt parfait. Mix chia seeds with oat milk and lay that in a mason jar with yogurt flavored with protein powder. It creates fun colored layers. I like to top this with some fruit.
Myria says
I dress up my plain Greek yogurt. I get a 32 oz container and then add a can of crushed pineapple (drained as much juice off as you can) and then add a package of sugar free jello pudding. Lately I’ve been using the cheesecake flavor. It makes it so much more palatable. I eat it with granola sprinkled on top.
Jiya S. says
You can also go the savory route instead of sweet with Greek yogurt — I often make raita (Indian yogurt sauce) with Greek yogurt, a little milk, chopped tomatoes or cucumber, salt, pepper, cumin, coriander & turmeric, add a little red chili powder if you like a kick to it. Or use it to make a sauce for falafel — similar to the raita, but add some lemon juice. It’s also really good mixed with Indian-style pickle — eat with chapati or parantha for a easy but filling lunch.
carrie says
I think it is something that takes getting used to.
My boys were raised on plain yogurt (Greek and regular). I was raised on yoplait…so that lack of sweet took me a while to get over.
I like to use defrosted mixed berries from costco in mine with homemade granola. Sometimes I’ll do pea UT butter powder and cocoa powder.
My husband took a while linger to convince. He now eats it with a little honey and fruit or granola.
One of my sons will defrost and blend up mango to add in.
Katherine says
I love Greek fat free yogurt with honey stirred in. I add it to frozen fruit smoothies too.
Luisa says
I eat that same exact Costco yogurt. You can’t beat the price and the protein. I stir in a teaspoon of jam to sweeten it up a bit and it will still have less sugar than a sweetened or flavored yogurt.
Laura Z says
Walnuts and honey! Raspberries or a dollop of jam is pretty nice too.
Jules says
I’m wondering if the lactose free Greek yogurt is different .. I have never liked yogurt in my life, but due to health changes I’ve begun to eat Silk vanilla Greek yogurt with fresh strawberries and bananas … it’s delicious. I tried non-Greek once, and hated it, and it did not fill me up.
chelsea says
Sometimes I think that plain greek yogurt has a similar taste to sour cream. The way we like to eat greek yogurt is to mix it with a dollop of regular old yogurt(usually strawberry or blueberry). Stir it really well and it makes a really neat fluffy texture and tastes better.
Jennifer says
Oikos Triple Zero vanilla is my go-to. I add raspberries and mini chocolate chips. For plain yogurt add maple syrup
