Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 oz baby spinach (chopped)
  • 4 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 2 lbs lean ground beef
  • 6 oz crumbled blue cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and heat, stirring constantly, just until fragrant, about a minute. Add the chopped spinach and stir to coat in the garlic/olive oil. Remove from heat, cover and let sit in hot pan for 3 minutes, stirring once. Remove from pan and place on paper towel-lined plate to cool.
  2. Once cooled, in a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly. Divide mixture into 6 equal parts {I like to use a 1 cup measuring cup when I do this} and form into rounded patties. Lay the formed patties onto a parchment lined cookie sheet and freeze for 30 minutes. Transfer patties to freezer bags.
  3. When ready to use, remove from freezer and grill from frozen until cooked through.
