I have smart readers. I have resourceful readers. I have crafty readers. I know all this to be true because I’ve seen it through your comments and your emails. But I just want to focus on the crafty part for a hot second.

I started a shop, but only got a few things up before I had to temporarily stop due to a family emergency. I plan on getting it going again here soon. I take stained or dirty items and turn them into something useable again instead of just tossing them.
My name is Sunny and my Etsy shop features my hand painted designs on fabric! We have tea towels, table runners, aprons, with more products coming soon.
We also sell beautiful handmade cloth napkins for every occasion.
Thank you so much for supporting artisans, Mavis!!

Mavis, thank you for giving us this opportunity. My name is Dawn, and I started an Etsy shop earlier this year after my husband was let go from his job. We decided to be our own bosses for now. My original idea evolved, and I am focusing on hand crocheted items. My shop name is inspired by my love of chickens. I am adding items daily this month so favorite my shop to get notifications.

Hi Mavis, I have been a long time reader of the blog. What a great idea to feature the shops. My shop was started last year when I moved from New England to Florida. I had to keep the Christmas spirit alive even when the weather was hot so I started my shop and make decor items for the holidays using vintage jewelry that I got from my mom. I love taking the beautiful pieces and making them into something that everyone can enjoy.
I hope you feature my shop this year. I didn’t make the cut last year but hopefully I will this time! Thanks!

Hi Mavis! Thank you so much for this wonderful opportunity! And for supporting crafters and Etsy! The name of my shop is The Trug and Trowel and I grow and make a lot of items from gourds. Everything from birdhouses, art, primitive décor, and even a decorative light. I also have some nice holiday items as well like stockings made from vintage feed sacks. I love growing flowers and food, but without a greenhouse Winter feels like it never ends. A friend runs this Etsy shop called Taruni’s garden. It’s art and nature in a beautiful flower.
Hi Mavis! A lot of people don’t know that Etsy also sells vintage! I have been selling weird vintage stuff for over 10 years. I love that it gives me a bit of an income while still being available whenever my family needs me.
I would love it if you checked out my shop!
I love this idea! Giving handmade gifts is my jam! I make jewelry and crocheted things (those are primarily on Facebook, because I’ve been busy).
I have always loved to sew and majored in design in college. I sell handmade decorative throw pillows in my Etsy shop Islandia Designs. I also do custom orders if someone has their own fabric or wants a unique size. It is fun to see my pillows travel all over the world to find their home!

Hi Mavis! So kind to feature Etsy shops. I started making weighted blankets because my son struggles with sensory issues and sleep problems. I soon discovered that there is a larger community struggling with sensory, anxiety, insomnia, and much more. I love having customers pick there own fabric for a custom one of a kind blanket.

I love making all kinds of crafts and I discovered Spoonflower – a custom fabric printing website. I know it’s not Etsy, but it is another outlet for amazing artists and crafters. The artists create amazing designs for printing on a huge range of fabrics and there are tons of ideas for crafters to buy fabric (with a commission going to the original artist with every purchase) and make new creations.
