I am your typical housewife living in high maintenance suburbia. I have a handsome husband, 2 kids and a flock of pet chickens. I try and feed my family with $100 a month. With the help of coupons, gardening and bartering I am able to squeeze the most out of our grocery budget and still manage to have a little fun along the way.
Good morning! From the east coast. 😉 We woke up to a backyard full of snow this morning and I can’t wait to get out there and do some snowshoeing. WahooooO! Snow. For Thanksgiving, how cool is that?
Here are a few deals to get you started this morning, I’ll pop back online in a little bit and add some more deals, but right now, I want to go out and play.
I suspect a few of you might be opening up your home over the next few days. Even though 99% of them will be amazing guests, you’ll occasionally house a bad egg. Take a deep breath and read up on How to Deal With Annoying House Guests. Find more cool tips and info on my Everyday Life Pinterest Board.
I would double or triple this recipe if you’re planning on serving it up as an appetizer for your Thanksgiving crowd. Because these Bacon Wrapped New Potatoes go FAST! Get the recipeHERE or Pin it for Later.
Joe’s New Balance Outlet has the Women’s New Balance 1210 Running shoe on sale for just $32.99 today {retail $124.99}. This is a fantastic deal if you are looking for a new pair of sneakers.

Glad you have snow! I live in NY…we missed the last big storm (too much to the west of us) and tomorrow’s big storm will be too much to the east! I’m going to my mom’s which is east of me here, so hopefully we will get some snow there! Have fun!
Yeah, I remember living in the snow for the first time. It was beautiful. Then I grew so sick of it it didn’t even look pretty any more! Putting chains on the car… sliding doors frozen shut… wood being too wet to burn…
Now, snow is nice to visit for a few hours, then we head home out of the cold and wet!
Happy Thanksgiving!! Watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade my son will be in it with the Foothill High School marching Band – The Largest in Nevada.
That is great Leanna. Will certainly watch for that band. First time I have ever “known” anyone who was in that parade! I was in marching band in High School and our big trip was to the Victoria Queen’s Day parade. Great memories. Hope your kids have a blast.
