Winner winner pork chop dinner!!
A big THANK you to Nancy {and everyone else!} who shared their favorite easy Crock-Pot recipes.
You have no idea how helpful that was. My husband spotted Nancy’s recipe for Crock-Pot pork chops with apple pie filling and said he wanted to try it.
Well played Nancy!
While I’m busy with my one hundred dollars a month food challenge this month, you ladies have inadvertently given my husband some direction on what to make for dinner. 🙂 HA HA HA.
It looks like he won’t actually be subsisting on Doritos and bologna sandwiches. So thank you!
The HH said not only was this recipe DELICIOUS, but super easy to make too. So easy to make he said he’s already looking forward to making it again.
The recipe called for 4 pork chops. My husband ate 2 and had a plate full of leftovers for the next day. Another bonus!
And you want to know what else? This recipe for pork chops with apple pie filling made the house so good, I firmly believe someone should capture the scent and sell it as a candle.
People would run to the store to pork chop and apple candles, I’m sure of it.
So Nancy, thank you for the recipe. This one is a winner!!
If you’re looking for a new Crock-Pot recipe, this is it!! Give it a go.
Okay. Carry on.

Yum. Question if Nancy reading, might just using the equivalent sliced apples, cinnamon, and bit of sugar work instead of an actual can of pie filling?
Nancy Settel says
I am sure that would probably work all the ingredients that makes pork chops so darn good. Mavis I am so happy your husband enjoyed them. Being part German we did these again for New Years Day. By the way I used to be in the primitive candle business and did so many scents this would have been a great one. Nancy Settel

Don’t miss the new TV show “Best Medicine”. It is a US remake version of Doc Martin. The pilot last night was very well done.
