Hello Saturday! I’m so glad you’re here.
There is a crispness in the air this morning and that can only mean one thing… Fall is almost here. In another week or two I’ll be back to wearing jeans and love sleeved shirts and not look like a weirdo.
I LOVE the cooler weather, and although winter is probably my favorite fall is a close second.
On the agenda for today:
- Pack up orders and ship them on out
- Take Lucy out for a ride
- Hang some laundry on the line
- Can more salsa with The Girl
- Start a new turkey rug
- Watch Letters to Juliet
How about YOU? What’s on your to-do list for today? Anything exciting?
Have a good one,

I bought a bushel of tomatoes and a half a bushel of okra from
A local farmer so I will be canning those today.
Laundry. Working in my
Guest room continues. More cleaning out of the garage. 32 mums
To plant. Cleaning off the back porch. I had planned to get
My Fall garden planted but it is raining and we all know it isn’t good to plant seeds in the rain unless you
Want your garden all over your yard/land.
Hang some curtains.
Clean some furniture.

Binging on reruns of All Creatures Great and Small and waiting for the z-pak to kick in. I feel like I’ve wasted a whole night and day.

Resting. Helped my sister pick my beans using a 5 foot ladder. I thought half runner (beans) meant half the height of pole beans. Boy was I wrong. I roasted carrots and beets after reading your blog. New favorite in our house!!
Where is the recipe for the roasted beets and carrots? They look delicious! Thanks
Lucy as your co-pilot is precious!
Cleaned out the basement!! To hot for any outdoor activity 🙁
