A big giant THANK YOU to everyone who took the time to enter our 12 days of giveaways series. The prizes for these giveaways were so much fun to put together and I hope that even if you didn’t win, you were able to scroll through some of the comments while entering and see what an awesome community we’ve built here on One Hundred Dollars a Month over the past 10 years.
When I started this blog 10 years ago I had no idea it would blossom into to this thriving, caring {virtual} neighborhood of like mined people. Well, mostly like minded. There will always be a few nutters that everybody shakes their head at. 😉
So THANK YOU. Thank you for being you and making this blog so much fun to write every morning! You rock.

Winners were notified this morning via email and have until 8 am EST on December 12th, 2019 to claim their prize. Packages will be shipped the afternoon of December 12th, 2019 and anything not claimed by that time will be donated to charity.

3 Winners:
- Heidi left the comment “Heirloom shelling beans – love the varieties and the beautiful colors if each bean”
- Gina left the comment “Tomatoes and peppers are my favorites to grow.”
- Linda left the comment “First of all…the reason we come back to this crazy little blog is because you rock. I have yet to make a recipe from your blog that isn’t good. My husband will even ask, is this a Mavis recipe? if I make something new. I got chickens because after reading about yours, I thought I needed some too. I could go on and on but won’t- my daughter would tell me I sound like a stalker! Ha!!!!!
So zucchini is my favorite to grow!! Prolific & delicious!”
1 Winner:
- Denise W who left the comment “I have three Dachshunds…….Tucker, Daisy and Susanna. I could list all their attributes but Daisy is my shining star of the group. She lost her vision to SARDS but you would never know it by the way she acts. Her sense of smell is now to such a level that she can find me wherever I am in the house just by smelling for me. I’ve always told my husband that should I go missing he needs to get Daisy on the case 🙂 I love your blog and check in frequently. Keep doing you.”
1 Winner:
- Sandi F who left the comment: “Oooh, awesome!! I will definitely keep and use them!! I have a vintage rake head mounted that I hang my vintage hand tools on. I use old leather thongs like my Grampa used to do! Altho he painted his tools red!! Maybe so he could find them again!! Lol”

Thank you Mavis! I was one of the winners and want to say congrats to all the others who won. To those that didn’t, sorry, and good luck next time. It was exciting as I never win anything. Looking forward to learning more new things in 2020. You are my inspiration. We lived closer as I have no one to hook with, all of your rugs are fabulous, but have to get through my stack “to do” pile.
