Mavis for Vice President?
I bet I could show these candidates a thing or two about saving some money, what do you think?
Well peeps, it was a busy week in Mavis land. I flew to Atlanta, Georgia and went to CNN headquarters twice, scored a new recipe from Denitra the make-up artist, walked through Centennial Park, ate a bunch of free food, and shared a hotel room with a bunch of my favorite people. I couldn’t have asked for a better mini vacation if I tried.
As much as I LOVE traveling, it’s good to be home. Even if it means walking in the door to find piles of laundry on the floor, dishes in the sink, and no food in the refrigerator.
Yep, home again, home again, jiggety-
I love my family, even if they do slack off in the housekeeping department when I leave.
Fred Meyer $9.50 QFC $2.00
As far as shopping goes, last week was a snooze fest. I had baked a bunch of meals and snacks ahead of time, so all I really needed to do was pick up a few gallons of milk to tide my crew over until I got home.
Free “Chicken Scraps”
And thanks to Mr. Produce Guy, we had plenty of fruit on hand too.
Well, enough about me, how was YOUR weekend?
Did you do anything super cool? Score any awesome deals at the grocery store?
